TV and film production company Antix Productions has moved into new office space in The Greenhouse in MediaCity UK, it has been announced.
The company, which is based in Cheshire, is best known for making the popular TV show Most Haunted.
Karl Beattie, Head of Production at Antix said: “The BBC’s move up north has been the foundation for one of the biggest changes in television and the centre of that change is MediaCityUK. Keeping Northern talent up north and enticing southern talent up to this rich area of television production and creativity is fast destroying the prejudice of all things outside the M25.
“The Greenhouse is rapidly becoming a hotbed of creative talent and a great choice for media professionals who are serious about programme making.”
She added that The Greenhouse is “on the doorstep of the BBC and ITV” and that the move provided “a great opportunity” for the production company.
Stephen Wild, Managing Director of MediaCity UK said that he was ‘thrilled’ that Antix was moving into The Greenhouse, and that since the building opened it had “attracted a diverse mix of media related businesses that have all opted to be part of the growing community.”
Already occupying The Greenhouse are Dreamscope Productions, Libra Television, and Humanoid Productions, among others.
