Beijing offices to help US firm meet Chinese demand

[Published March 2011 and updated May 2023] A new set of Beijing offices have been opened by the environment technology group RGF with the aim of helping the company meet growing demand from Chinese consumers.

The US-based business specialises in a range of air treatment and purification technologies and demand for RGF solutions has reportedly “mushroomed” in recent months from various parts of China.

With continuing its Asian growth in mind, the firm from Palm Peach in Florida has now opened an office in the central business district of Chaoyang in downtown Beijing and is planning a celebratory ceremony next month.

President and chief executive of RGF Ron Fink said: “With the rapid rise of China’s demand for US products and technology, RGF wants to be in a strategic position to be more accessible to clients, seek new distribution partners, offer support to current distributors, and promote and market all of our product lines.”

“Having a representative office is the ideal way for us to have a presence in China and achieve our business goals,” he added.

The office space at Tower 3 in the China Central Place of Beijing is to be RGF’s first-ever operating base outside of the US and the environmental group’s official headquarters in Florida.

Asia currently has some of the world’s most active and dynamic office space markets, with traditional powerhouse economies in the West struggling to find their way back to steady growth. Indeed, CBRE recently predicted that most of the world’s office developments will take place in the Asia-Pacific region over the course of 2011-12.

Editor’s notes: In May 2023, RGF Environmental Group listed Tower C1, Oriental Plaza, No 1 East Chang’An Avenue in the Dongcheng District as its Beijing office address.
