Enfinity is involved in a wide range of activities relating to the establishment of solar and wind power stations across Europe and is among the largest companies of its kind in the world.
The firm is now settling into its serviced offices at the Plaza complex on Old Hall Street in Liverpool, which recently underwent a series of significant refurbishments and is located close to the heart of Liverpool’s city centre.
British markets are seen as offering considerable growth potential as far as Enfinity is concerned, and the opening of its new office space in Liverpool is part of a wider strategy to establish a greater presence nationwide.
“After looking at a number of cities, Liverpool ticked all the right boxes for our business needs,” the company’s co-founder and chief executive, Patrick Decuyper, explained.
“Liverpool offers us a high-quality skill set, excellent transport links, access to business expertise and exceptional value for money.”
The North-West Regional Development Agency helped find the right serviced office space to suit Enfinity, and the organisation is delighted to see a major European company settle part of its workforce in the north-west of England.
Earlier this month, plans were submitted for the Liverpool Waters project, which will be the largest regeneration scheme in the UK if approved by local and national decision-makers.
Editor’s notes: In August 2022, it was announced that Enfinity had successfully raised $242 million in funding for solar plants.
In April 2023, Enfinity no longer listed its Liverpool office location on its corporate website.
The Plaza complex still offers a wide range of flexible office and workspace solutions and is owned and operated by North-West-based flex space operator Bruntwood.
In June 2026, it was reported that Enfinity had signed a 29-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Indian Metals and Ferro Alloys (IMFA)
