Sales, client services and technical support will all be provided from Netro’s new area of London office space and the move is seen as an important step for the company.

The Canada-based business has explained that part of the motivation for establishing a London operation is so its staff can attend the various industry conferences and events that take place across Europe throughout the year.
Netro aims to deliver profitable media solutions in a business-to-business environment and its expansion efforts are increasingly being focussed on the UK and other major European countries.
Jason Potter, director of client services at NetroMedia, said: “I am extremely happy to see how by the end of 2010 we have managed to upgrade the quality of customer service in the European region to higher standards than ever.”
“Our new office location in London serves as the sealing stamp on our achievement, but as a truly global company – we will continue to invest time and resources to increase our presence worldwide.”
The company’s research and development work will continue to be based in offices in the cities of Vancouver and Victoria in British Columbia and it has recently revealed its intention to attend the Mobile World Conference in Barcelona next month.
Netro is by no means the only media company considering or lining-up office space in central London, the international news provider Bloomberg and the social network group Twitter have also been considering their commercial space options in the capital in recent weeks.
Editor’s notes: As of May 2023, NetroMedia continued to provide monetisation solutions for radio, video and live-streaming platforms.
At the same time, it did not list a London office address on its website, only its office on Market Street in Victoria in British Columbia.
