DictateNow, an outsourcing company head-quartered in southern England, has opened a new set of offices in Manchester to support its growth across the rest of the UK.
The Borehamwood-based business focusses primarily on providing an outsourced dictation service to clients in the legal profession, as well as to property sector service providers and accounting firms.
Its Manchester offices will allow the company to build on its existing presence that includes it having 300 full-time typists based at several different UK sites. In addition to its office opening in Manchester, the firm recently agreed to rent offices in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
“This expansion strengthens our existing sales teams at our head office, in the South West and Scotland,” DictateNow’s managing director and co-founder Garry Park told FreshBusinessThinking.com.
“Due to an increased client demand, we’ve now secured offices in Belfast and Manchester to support the businesses we work with in those regions, and to take advantage of further opportunities with new clients.”
Park explained that 2011 has been a good year for his business, with growing demand for its dictation services from clients looking to streamline their operations in various ways and to take greater advantage of outsourcing options in general.
Rising demand has seen DictateNow steadily taking on more and more professional typists to deliver the services it offers, which in turn has lead to the company’s need for more office space, with Manchester and Belfast chosen as the right cities to expand into.
Last month, the property advisory Cushman & Wakefield’s local director Tony Bray described Manchester as being among the best cities in the UK in which to start and grow a business. He pointed to the availability of a skilled workforce, good public transport links and high quality offices space to rent in making his case.
