Software group opens offices in Paris and Hamburg

[Published Sept 2011 and updated July 2023] The California-based online solutions group Marin Software has opened offices in Paris and Hamburg as it steps up its expansion efforts in key European markets.

Marin’s technology provides advertisers with online management services and business is growing strongly in both France and Germany.

A number of newly appointed managers will be running the company’s operations from its offices in Paris and Hamburg and they have been handed the task of making sure Marin’s language-specific solutions are delivered and promoted as effectively as possible in their respective countries.

Headquartered in San Francisco, California, the business also has employees operating out of office space in London, Shanghai, Sydney, Chicago and New York.

“Marin is committed to opening on-the-ground offices in every major global market to better serve our international clients,” said Christopher Lien, Marin Software’s chief executive officer.

“Europe is one of the most sophisticated advertising markets in the world, and our new offices there in Paris and Hamburg are key hubs for our European customers,” he added.

With 800 client businesses worldwide, Marin describes itself as the fastest-growing provider of advertising management software in the world.

While Marin was expanding overseas, its native San Francisco recently saw one of its largest office space development deals in recent years as Kilroy Realty bought the 311,545 sq ft of commercial space at 201 Third Street in the South of Market SoMa district of the city.

For the first quarter of 2023, Marin generated $4.6 million in revenue.

On July 11th 2023, Marin Software had a market cap of $11.73 million and its share price was $0.68.
