About 16 Trinity Square

16 Trinity Square offers a modern flexible alternative to office space for rent in the heart of the Victorian seaside town of Llandudno in North Wales.

The imposing property was built in the 1890s and has a colourful past – once a private villa and later converted into a commercial property for use as a boutique hotel.

During the Second World War, the US Army occupied the property using it as both a doctors’ and officers’ mess.

In the 1980s, the National Trust acquired the property and utilised it as its headquarters office, and in 2015, it was acquired by Livetechnologies (trading as Livetech) who converted the property into a modern business centre.

Since then, it has also acted as the corporate office base of Livetech that provides technology support for the property and its occupiers.

In recent years, 16 Trinity Square has incorporated The Drum coworking facility into the property.

In 2020 during a lockdown period, the property became world-famous as images of goats that had descended from the nearby Great Orme took occupation of the deserted town, and chose the gardens of the flex space property as a grazing stop, went viral.

Llandudno is a seaside town with many of the amenities of larger towns and cities yet is set in a relaxed seaside town setting at the entrance of Snowdonia national park.

It is a well-connected North Wales town with easy access to the A55 Expressway which links to the wider UK motorway network as well as the international airports of the northwest.

The Holyhead ferry port is approximately one hour away and the train station in Llandudno, which is approximately 4 minutes away on foot, provides regular services across Wales and the UK, and the UK capital can be reached in 3 hours 20 minutes.

The connectivity of Llandudno makes the town a popular satellite location for hybrid working businesses seeking regional working hubs for remote workers, and a flexible workplace in the town acts as an ideal touchdown workspace for certain projects and meetings that cannot be optimally addressed by a work-from-home team.

Trinity Square, as a location within the town, is popular with many companies as this is the main business district of Llandudno and office occupiers in the square include professional services firms including national accountants and law firms, as well as many others from a diverse range of sectors.

16 Trinity Square, as a commercial property offering flexible business space, is chosen by individuals and businesses because it is a classic Victorian property that represents the heritage of the town – yet, with business-grade broadband and high-end technology installed, creates ultra-efficient modern office space – this juxtaposition is highly attractive to businesses that want to rent modern office space with real character.

Uniquely in the town, 16 Trinity Square offers office space with on-site tech support from a team of market-leading experts.

And the business support team also offer business consultancy services to start-ups and businesses looking to grow and scale.

Lastly, another reason that 16 Trinity Square is popular, and may look familiar, is because it became a viral sensation for a period during 2020.

A widely circulated photograph taken during the first lockdown of the pandemic, showed the mountain goats of the Great Orme taking advantage of the quiet streets and ‘invading’ the town – the goats were snapped in the gardens of the property as they took a well-earned break and snacked on the vegetation!
