We have the pleasure of providing access to House of St John’s flexible workspace.
Established in 2021, House of St John’s provides luxury private offices, co-working desks, event space and meeting rooms in Queen Square in Bath city centre.
The Queen Square building was gifted to St John’s by the Whittington family – direct descendants of the fabled Dick Whittington in 1953.
Offices were available for lease at No.1 Queen Square for more than 60 years before an extensive renovation programme began in 2019.
Working with local experts who specialised in refurbishing Grade I listed buildings, St John’s completed its sympathetic renovation in 2021.
The building was renamed House of St John’s as it was reincarnated as a versatile work and event space. Today, it supports a variety of local businesses, helping them to interact and grow in a positive business environment.
House of St John’s is run by a dedicated commercial trading subsidiary to directly generate funds that support a wide range of charitable work across Bath and North East Somerset, earning it the moniker of ‘a workspace with social purpose’.
The House of St John’s offers Bath professionals the chance to meet and engage with an incredible network of like-minded individuals with a mission focused on community, inclusion and informal luxury.
Clients love that House of St John’s is a workspace with a social purpose and the knowledge that profits are gifted to its Founder and Charity Partner, St John’s Foundation, to fund positive societal change that supports under-served children in Bath and North East Somerset.
They also love the luxury office provider’s focus on community, inclusion and informal luxury, which creates a pleasant yet highly productive business and working environment.
As part of fostering community, all members enjoy complimentary access to all social and networking events, and the members’ bar is a relaxing space to mix with other members.
Of course, the setting within the highly desirable Queen Square, lined with Grade I listed buildings, the green space, the proximity to transport links and the abundance of the amenities of Bath city centre on the doorstep are also some of the reasons that clients choose to base their businesses at House of St John’s.
