The Office Providers was founded in 2009 and was the first flexible-focussed office space agency to be globally regulated by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

It was established with a mission to serve businesses that were seeking flexible office space solutions with a service that was built upon the values of professionalism, independence and impartiality.

Although the agency is flexible-focused, The Office Providers also serves businesses seeking traditional office space to rent and advises clients on a variety of lease events and commercial property management matters.

Being a full-service office space brokerage, The Office Providers is positioned to advise clients on both flexible workspace and conventional office space and assists with comparison exercises on single acquisitions as well as on portfolio strategy.

Post-pandemic, The Office Providers has been increasingly assisting businesses of all sizes to create hybrid workplace models that facilitate flexible remote working and hybrid working practices.

The Office Providers is an occupier-side office agency and is paid a fee by office providers, workspace operators, business centres, coworking space providers and flexible office space landlords, only when a satisfactory deal arrangement is arrived at.

This means that The Office Providers offers a completely FREE service to occupiers – all office space search, acquisition and tenant representation services are completely free to the occupier, always.

The Office Providers aims to create transparency in the flexible office space market and works with the majority of office providers in the majority of locations bringing all flexible office space options under one metaphorical ‘roof’.

The company also works with traditional office landlords that may be offering non-leased office space or flexibly leased space within their portfolio, as well as tenants that may wish to assign or sublet rented office space, as well as other off-market office space opportunities.

The Office Providers was founded in 2009 by Michael Gardener MSc MRICS who is a chartered commercial property surveyor with over 15 years of experience working within the office space and commercial real estate industry.

Prior to founding The Office Providers, he worked for chartered surveyor partnerships and global commercial real estate advisory firms representing both landlords and tenants, working with clients including unicorn companies, pension funds and multinational conglomerates.
