Who are Beulah Road Studios?
Established in 2020, Beulah Studios was created from a series of derelict garages. Following a renovation project that started in 2019 that saw each brick being meticulously made by hand and fired in a traditional wood-fired kiln, Beulah Road Studios is unmistakable with its striking facade made of deep teal green glazed bricks.
The unique exterior of the building identifies with the craftsmanship and handmade nature of creative activities within the studios, with a nod to Waltham Forest.
Members love the back story and journey from abandoned garages to ‘our little green gem’.
When it was launched, 50 Artists from Waltham Forest took part in a group exhibition at the studios with the uniting theme of ‘Artists from the Forest’ celebrating its diverse and exciting borough of culture.
This ethos of celebration and diversity continues, and Beulah Road Studios loves to revel in the success of its members on its various channels.
Today, Beulah Road Studios is home to an eclectivc community of creators including animators, book binders, broadcasters, designers, journalists, makers, and record label managers, to name just a few examples.
In the spirit of true flexibility, Beulah Road Studios allows members to sublet desk space if the need ever arises.
Beulah Road Studios is ideally located in Walthamstow Village with an array of amenities on the doorstep and Walthamstow Central station is just a short walk away.
