Electric Works Flexible Office Space Property

What types of flexible workspace products do Electric Works provide?

Electric Works provides state-of-the-art office space for rent in Sheffield, available on a range of lease formats and flexible licences.

The offices are available on a serviced, semi-serviced, or unserviced basis, and the flexible office landlord will adapt contracts to suit specific business needs.

For example, serviced offices are available on a flexible 1-year licence with a 20-working-day notice period.

With these arrangements, the office rent covers utility costs, reception and bureau services, car parking, telephone and internet packages, and other property management overheads normally paid separately when renting an office in Sheffield.

Tenants also enjoy 24/7 access to their private office suite.

Electric Works also provides shared offices in which members are assigned designated desk space in a vibrant and professional working environment. The membership fee covers a desk lamp, lockable pedestal, ergonomic chair, Wi-Fi, digital handset, line rental, meeting room credits and access to networking and promotional benefits.

The Club Lounge is a co-working space where members can grab a random plug-and-play workstation, sofa, or armchair.

Members also enjoy 24/7 access, unlimited hot drinks, locker rental and other perks.

Electric Works also offers a wide range of meeting spaces in central Sheffield for interviews, filming, product launches, onboarding, training, and other uses.

These are increasingly used by hybrid-working companies seeking a touchdown workspace for collaborative work, where they can bring together their remote-working team members.

The spaces are well-equipped with state-of-the-art business technologies, and the largest space will accommodate 140 people.

Electric Works is also a virtual office provider, offering a range of packages that include a Sheffield-registered business address, along with optional extras such as mail forwarding and call handling.

Facts about Electric Works

Why choose Electric Works office space in Sheffield?

Electric Works is best known for its great vibe, and it believes that is down to the culture it has built, which puts employees and occupying clients at the front and centre.

For instance, the flexible workspace provider that manages Electric Works, Creative Space Management, is an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT), meaning that 100 per cent of the shares are owned on behalf of all qualifying employees.

Electric Works likes to support the wider community and is active in local and national fundraising for charities, hosting Macmillan coffee mornings, for instance.

Of course, the workspace has to be great, and the awards from the likes of the British Council of Offices (BCO) and acknowledgements such as becoming a Wired Certified ‘Platinum’ building are a testament to that.

The management team are plugged into the South Yorkshire business ecosystem, and organisations such as the Sheffield Chamber of Commerce and Screen Yorkshire often choose the venue to host their events.

It will always ensure its members are among the first to know about local initiatives, such as programs run by the South Yorkshire Local Enterprise Partnership, that are designed to aid SMEs in their growth journeys.

And, of course, Electric Works has a slide which is claimed to be the largest slide in any UK office. We checked our records and, although the control group is quite small, we can confirm that it certainly is the largest!
