The workspace company provides coworking spaces, studios and fully serviced private office spaces in Southwark from a variety of characterful commercial properties.

In SE17 there are private office spaces for teams of 4 – 20 people available on flexible monthly contracts.

No long-term commitments are required for the offices and Hotel Elephant has introduced new Office Timeshare and Temporary Office Hire options providing optimal agility.

Daily office rentals are also available at the property.

Occupiers enjoy 24/7 access, high-speed Wifi, unlimited tea and coffee and 10% off food in the café.

Monthly Desk Rentals ate also available at the property. Membership provides a dedicated desk with shelves and lockable storage and the plan is on a rolling monthly basis.

Discounted rent is available to teams looking to rent multiple dedicated desks, and day passes are also available.

A range of studios are also available for rent and these can be for ‘Noisy & Messy’ and ‘Quiet & Clean’ work, so are ideal for artists and makers.

Studios can also be shared by two people.

A range of small, medium and large studios can also be rented at further properties within the Hotel Elephant portfolio with some allowing for long-term rentals up to 5 years.

The properties are the former primary school, St John’s, in Walworth SE17. Two studio buildings on Harper Road in SE1, and Newington Causeway Studios which is just a short walk from Borough and Elephant and Castle tube stations.

The company also offers a unique meeting space for hire located on a mezzanine floor at its Spare Street property. The hire price is inclusive of the use of a projector, screen and whiteboard, along with free filter coffee and tea and hirers also receive 10% off food in the café in the same property.

About Hotel Elephant

Hotel Elephant provides workspaces for creative entrepreneurs around the Elephant and Castle in the London Borough of Southwark.

Established in 2009, the company takes meanwhile use spaces and repurposes them as creative hubs for individuals and businesses and offers a wide range of spaces from them including studios, exhibition spaces, workshops and educational spaces.

In 2016, the company took occupation of 5 adjoining properties on Spare Street in the SE17 postcode district and launched a “new street” dedicated to creative enterprise.

In addition to Spare Street, Hotel Elephant provides creative workspaces for artists and makers out of various other meanwhile use spaces in Southwark.

Since its launching, the workspace company has provided approximately 60,000 sqft of space to the creative industries in South London.

The workspace operator also successfully attracted funding from Southwark Council’s Arts Grants Fund and from the Mayor of London’s Regeneration Fund to support its endeavours.
