We have the pleasure of providing access to Profolk flexible workspace.
Profolk was established in 2019 when it launched its first flexible office space and coworking property in Stockport within converted bank chambers in the town centre.
The building was built in 1868 for the Bank of Stockport by local architect T A Allen and was later acquired by The National Westminster.
The Grade II listed building maintains many original features, including stained glass windows, marble columns and three security vaults, and, through Profolk, offers ‘Workspace For People with Outstanding Ideas’.
Profolk opened two further properties in 2025 – in Alderley Edge on George Street and at The Underbanks within an area that has become Stockport’s coolest district with an eclectic mix of independent boutiques, bakeries and bars, connected with a strong sense of community.
Profolk offers flexible private offices, coworking, meeting and event space for businesses within its properties and celebrates ‘solo hustle with community bustle.
Profolk offers a wide range of flexible office space options in Alderley Edge and Stockport with well-considered amenities such as two-person booths and taps dispensing filtered water.
Its Bank Chambers property in Stockport has been sympathetically refurbished to celebrate its heritage and offers unique and modern flexible workspace solutions such as duplex offices and private meeting rooms on mezzanine floors filled with plenty of natural light.
Its meeting rooms can be hired by the hour or the day and can accommodate between 2 and 30 attendees.
