Fukuoka is the fourth largest city of Japan, with a population of just over 5 million. It is located on Kyusyu island in the south of the main island of Japan and is a 3-hr flight from Tokyo.
Due to its geographical location, Fukuoka is also known as a gateway to the other major Asian cities. It is 1 hour to Seoul, 1.5 hours to Shanghai, 2 hours to Taipei and 2.5 hours to Hong Kong.
Aqua Hakata is one of the most advanced buildings in Fukuoka as the building was designed based on the specification of new buildings in Tokyo.
