About The Grafton Campus

The Campus forms a part of The Grafton Shopping Centre, which was refurbished in 2019.

It comprises two spaces – Escape, a hub designed for socialising, studying, and everything in between.

With décor inspired by Cambridge Botanical Gardens, Escape is a free-to-use space that welcomes local organisations and groups, charities, and those running workshops and classes, and is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Its second space is Discover, a free workspace with Wi-Fi.

Facts about The Grafton Campus

Why choose The Grafton Campus free workspace in Cambridge city centre?

The free working space is a quiet workspace in the centre of Cambridge with a plethora of amenities on the doorstep – in fact, Costa Coffee is directly opposite.

As more and more people work some of the time remotely and engage in hybrid work, they are increasingly looking for spaces to work from occasionally as alternatives to working from home all the time.

There are several coworking spaces in Cambridge as well as single private office spaces to rent, but these aren’t always the preferred options.

There are libraries and coffee shops to work from, but again, these aren’t always preferred options, as they aren’t conducive to work.

Discover offers an alternative with great car parking, close to Cambridge train station and other transport links, and a range of shopping and dining options under the same roof – there’s even a cinema and a gym for some after-work activities.
