About The Yard
Established in 2011, The Yard provides co-working spaces in NYC in Manhattan and Brooklyn, and in DC and Philadelphia.
Founded by two Brooklyn natives, Morris Levy and Richard Beyda, who had the perfect backgrounds in entrepreneurship and real estate.
They realized that were not many workspace options for either flexible workers or enterprises, and every entity in between, without committing to a long-term office lease.
The name, The Yard, was chosen to evoke the feeling of balance between work and play, representing an area where you would congregate to get things done, meet other people, and also be able to hang out and enjoy yourself.
The Yard’s original location was in Williamsburg and alumni of The Yard are Blue Apron, Uber, and the team of writers behind the Academy Award-winning film, Birdman.
Whilst the spaces are vibrant and design-led, The Yard’s spaces contain no arcade games, beer taps, or other similar distractions as they are designed to be professional places of work.
The Yard is also proud to offer a wellness program that includes on-demand meditation sessions that are available digitally, as well as fitness classes and nutrition options.
Community is also key to The Yard and provides both educational and networking programs specifically designed to mine experience from its members that help the collective community achieve its business goals.
The Yard’s Community Managers are also a key component in curating a successful community within each location to help inspire collaboration and facilitate business and social connections.

Why choose The Yard coworking space in NYC?
Having been established in 2011, members know that their workspace requirements are being looked after by a dedicated and experienced team.
And, growing its commercial real estate portfolio to 11 properties and its community to over 2,000 members, it must be doing something right.
The Yard likes to keep things fresh so, as well as choosing ideally located shared workspace properties that are superbly equipped and designed, they display stunning collections of art.
Each property features its own permanent art collection and, additionally, the team manages a quarterly rotation of art openings and exhibitions. Through the team’s relationships with curators and galleries at each property’s location, members are surrounded by beautiful art every day.
The range of workspace options is of wide appeal, too – from on-demand workspace day passes to co-working solutions to enterprises.
And with products such as The Yard Hybrid Access Pass, holders can work in a range of ways in any location throughout the portfolio.
