Facts about Union St
Why choose Union St coworking space in Sheffield city centre?
Union St has been voted one of the UK’s best coworking spaces by Creative Boom for many reasons.
There is a real feel-good factor about the cooperative where members truly feel a part of a collective. There are even reduced rates for members who get involved in running the workspace hub.
Members also feel good about the property being run on 100 per cent renewable energy and, in 2021, the installation of a new heat-exchange ventilation system to increase the commercial property’s efficiency.
And there’s the café serving the award-winning Darkwoods coffee as well as smoothies and ’smoothie bowls’. The café also features an eclectic rotation of street-food pop-ups that serve everything from vegan shawarmas to Vietnamese pho.
Aside from enjoying this amazing food, members feel great about the pop-up model, which gives these start-up food businesses a strong platform.
There is a full calendar of events held in the space, too – the varied calendar includes events such as clothes exchanges run by Common Thread Sheffield to life drawing sessions.
Union St Co-working is extremely easy to access – it is just 5 minutes from Sheffield train station, and there is bike storage very close by, too.
