WeWork opened its first flexible office location in Frankfurt in December 2017 as part of a rapid expansion drive. It was one of 23 locations that month, and by the end of the month, the shared office provider was operating 200 flexible office space and workspace buildings worldwide.
Its first Frankfurt location, WeWork Goetheplatz spanned six floors of office space and was located directly opposite the popular retail area of Goethestrasse, and just steps from Goetheplatz and alte Oper.
WeWork continued to grow and in 2019, operated over 800 flexible office spaces worldwide, with several in Frankfurt.
By 2025, WeWork had streamlined its operations in Frankfurt and offered space at its proven and popular location in the station quarter, Bahnhofsviertel.

WeWork’s building at Taunusanlage 8 offers private offices for teams requiring space for between 4 and 6 desks and full-floor offices with space for 50 or more desks.
The private offices are move-in ready, and clients enjoy shared or private amenities. Full-floor offices provide a private floor that is furnished and customisable.
