The company has signed up to occupy offices at the Salford Quays site to complement its existing production and logistics base in Milton Keynes. It will join the likes of Baby Cow, Dreamscope Productions, Libra Television and several others in operating from the newly-opened offices.
Bosses at WhiteCircle, which creates “live branded experiences” at exhibitions and other live commercial events, have described their staff as being very excited about the prospect of establishing a new office base in the northwest.
“Relocating the creative arm of the business to the northwest has been a long-standing part of our strategy, and the birth of MediaCityUK gave us an obvious location,” said managing director Jon Flowerdew. “Discovering The Greenhouse was like uncovering a little gem within the creative community,” he added.
Stephen Wild, managing director of the MediaCityUK development that is helping to transform Salford Quays and turn it into an international media hub, said: “The Greenhouse has become a sought-after location for independent creative businesses, and we welcome WhiteCircle and their services to the growing Media Village.”
WhiteCircle’s client list includes the likes of Barclaycard, the University College London and the retailer Ann Summers. It is the first marketing group of its kind to establish itself at offices available in The Greenhouse.
A growing number of businesses are based out of offices in Salford Quays, including at recently constructed MediaCityUK office buildings referred to as The Pie Factory and Orange, where several hundred square feet of office space remains available to rent.
