At present, the group has employees operating from London offices on Lower Regent Street, Haymarket and Jermyn Street but they are all now set to be relocated to newly refurbished offices on The Strand.
The corporate consultancy business has grown considerably since it was first launched in 1988 on New Bond Street in London’s West End. It now has a 700-strong workforce based in offices around the UK.
Punter Southall’s group chief executive Jonathan Punter said consolidating its London offices into a single location will offer “economies of scale” that will benefit both the company and its clients.
“Being in the same place represents good value for us and our clients because we are still where they want us to be – in the West End – and easily available and accessible,” he said. “We’ve been planning this for some time and look forward to welcoming our growing number of clients to our new home.”
Plans are in place for around 400 Punter Southall employees to start work from six floors of offices at Number 11 The Strand before the summer of 2012. Mr Punter made clear his intention to utilise the new headquarters to drive further growth and expansion of the business.
Landlord Orchard Street Investment Management agreed to a ten-year leasehold deal with Punter Southall for the 35,200 sqft of office space.
Figures recently released by the property advisory firm Cushman & Wakefield showed that leasehold deals were agreed on 2.3 million sqft of offices in London’s office market in the third quarter of 2011.

The 1988-founded retirement, pensions, analytics, and legal advice company also let serviced office space with Regus at 83 Princes Street in Edinburgh.
