Bruntwood which provides serviced office space across the North West and the Midlands, has said that interest from SMEs lately has been overwhelming.
In particular enquiries about Bruntwood’s Plaza in Liverpool have been extremely numerous. The new business has enabled Bruntwood to increase the number of workstations in the building by a full 25 per cent.
Enfinity, a designer of sustainable energy platforms has recently increased its office space in The Plaza considerably.
Colin Forshaw, Head of Liverpool sales at Bruntwood said: “It’s great news that Enfinity has taken the option to expand with us.
“We have adapted the service space to meet the needs of the company to take additional workstations at very short notice. The company can continue to expand with us as and when they require.”
Additionally, many of Bruntwood’s office spaces in Manchester have seen higher demand of late. The Deansgate business centre run by Bruntwood in Manchester has been operating at almost full occupancy for the last six months.
Bruntwood is reportedly planning on increasing the office space in the business centre by close to 50 per cent, which could house another 70 workstations.
Currently, Bruntwood operates 101 buildings in four cities throughout the North West. In total these buildings house over 1,000 different companies.
Recently Liverpool was named the host city of the 2012 Global Entrepreneurship Congress. The Congress attracts the most well-known and prestigious entrepreneurs, economists and thinkers from over 100 countries.
Liverpool will be the first city in the UK to hold the event. This year Shanghai is the host city.
