In an effort to expand its presence in the region, the company plans to establish a new office in the Kingdom of Bahrain to house a number of employees and local experts.
A total of 25 C&W staff are now operating out of offices in the country’s capital, Manama, with the firm’s resident partner responsible for Middle East operations overseeing the office opening.
The new offices are within the Bahrain World Trade Centre (BWTC), where a number of other internationally recognised businesses have a presence, including the likes of UBS, Credit Suisse, Ernst & Young and JP Morgan.

Commenting on the office opening and his company’s prospects in the Middle East, Mr Atwell said: “We are delighted to announce the launch of our new Bahrain office.
“As well as being able to directly service the local market, the new office will give us a strong platform for planned further expansion across the region into Qatar and Saudi Arabia, where we are already in detailed discussions with potential partners.”
The BWTC is among the largest development projects ever completed in Bahrain, and its two towers accommodate several hundred thousand square feet of high-quality office space in the Middle East.
For its part, C&W remains active across multiple continents, with a new office in Rotterdam recently added to its European network.
Editor’s notes: As of May 2023, Cushman & Wakefield did not list a Manama office address on its corporate website.
As of June 2026, Cushman & Wakefield listed two offices in the Middle East – in Doha, Qatar and Dubai, UAE.
