The new leasing arrangement will give CBRE 90,204 square feet of Class A office space at 2100 Ross.
Currently, the commercial real estate agency is renting floors three, four and five of the building. It plans to vacate these and move to floors 15 through 17, which are being built out. The building is currently owned by the Moinian Group and SMA Equities.
Additionally, the company also has 90,971 square feet of office space at 2100 McKinney.
Mike Lafitte, president of Americas for CBRE, told the Dallas Business Journal: “As we conducted our search throughout the Metroplex, we felt that 2100 Ross and its location within downtown Dallas would be the best possible scenario for CBRE.”
He added that the building’s proximity to restaurants and entertainment, as well as its access to DART, was important.
According to Lafitte, the office space will be completely renovated before the move to best serve the company’s specific needs. Once the renovation is complete, CBRE will apply for Silver LEED classification.
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) is a green building certification system developed by the US Green Building Council.
The certificate provides third-party verification that a structure has been built to improve performance in areas such as energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, and overall sustainability.
In the LEED certification, there are 100 possible base points: 6 for Innovation in Design and 4 for Regional Priority. Buildings can be awarded platinum, gold, silver or simply certified rating.
Currently, CBRE manages 2.4 billion square feet of office space worldwide and was recently ranked 33 on Fortune Magazine’s list of fastest-growing companies. CBRE’s corporate headquarters are located at 1150 Santa Monica Boulevard in Los Angeles.

As of July 2026, CBRE listed its global headquarters as 2121 North Pearl Street, Suite 300, Dallas, TX 75201 on its corporate website.
However, it was understood that CBRE was still in occupation at 2100 McKinney because in October 2025 it was reported that the firm had completed a $25 million revamp of approximately 95,000 square feet of space at the property. Uniquely, the hospitality-driven space included a speakeasy hidden behind bookcases and a billiards room.
As of July 2026, CBRE was marketing 58,751 square feet of office space for lease at 2100 McKinney. All of the space it was marketing was landlord space available by way of a direct lease, not a sublease.
